This project embodies the concept of “The New and The Old,” fostering a dialogue between craftsmanship and architecture. The restoration includes existing walls, doors, windows, shutters, ceilings, rosettes, and moldings.
The added elements reflect both the context they belong to and the present time, achieving a balance that makes the home feel timeless.
We collaborated with glass artisans to restore the original stained glass windows, preserving their beauty and historical value.
The original hydraulic mosaic floors were restored, preserving their richness and vibrant color. This project celebrates the past while embracing the present, creating a timeless and welcoming space.
“Harnessing the appeal of the old. Historical remanence possesses a magnetism, a seductive or attractive capacity that is capitalized by the architectural project.”
